The PSI research group is led by Dr. Arzu Çolak and focused broadly on physics of surfaces and interfaces at the nanoscale, harnessing the unique properties of novel materials and living cells with atomic force microscopy (AFM) based experiments to develop a framework for connecting macroscopic response and performance of materials with their nanoscale properties while pushing scientific boundaries in physics, chemistry, biology, and materials science.
